Tell us what you are planning, send a few photos or a rough sketch, and we will confirm if a site visit is needed.
Step 2 — On-site visit & firm quote
We walk the site with you, measure, check access and utilities, and give you a written quote before any work begins.
Step 3 — Excavation & daily cleanup
We complete the excavation, haul spoils as-needed, and leave your property neat and safe at the end of each workday.
Step 4 — Walkthrough & final grading
We verify elevations and drainage together, make any agreed tweaks, and leave your site ready for concrete, building, or landscaping.
Most projects can be scheduled within 2–3 weeks, depending on weather and permitting.
Before-and-after looks at real driveways, pads, and yard reshaping projects from homeowners like you.

Excavation is messy work, but working with your contractor does not have to be. Our crew treats your home like it is our own, from the first phone call to the last load of gravel.
“We hired Cold Iron Excavation to cut in a new 200-foot driveway and shop pad on a sloped, rocky lot. They walked us through drainage, helped us avoid a costly retaining wall, and were on-site exactly when they said they would be. The crew kept the road clean, checked in with us each day, and left the driveway ready for gravel and concrete. Could not recommend them more.”
